• Board

  LHC's board is made up of nearly 30 of Nashville's most promising health care leaders across diverse sectors and professional services firms. Board members are appointed and work on behalf of LHC to contribute to the breadth and strength of Nashville's $62 billion health care industry. The board also leads LHC's efforts to create educational, networking and mentoring opportunities for its more than 550 individual members.

• Committees

  Committees are established by application on an annual basis and serve LHC staff in an advisory capacity. Membership in each committee is open to eight LHC board members and eight LHC members, and chaired by an LHC board member.

  • Membership & Marketing - Develops membership recruitment and retention efforts and advise on potentially beneficial membership-related marketing and sponsorship development strategies.
  • Events & Education - Advises on speakers, events and sponsorship development, and develop strategies to retain young executive talent in the Nashville market.
  • Strategic Development (board only) - Advises on strategic plan and future direction on LHC.

• Sponsorships

  Event sponsorships are available to LHC member organizations and offer exposure among high-level program speakers and Nashville's emerging leaders.
  
  Sponsorship benefits include but are not limited to:

  • Recognition on event invitations.
  • Prominent LHC-provided signage at events.
  • Recognition in comments at event.
  • Acknowledgement on LHC website event calendar.

• Volunteering

  LHC members are offered opportunities to volunteer at select LHC and Nashville Health Care Council events, providing exposure and access to high-level Nashville leaders and expert policy and finance speakers.

• Awards

  With the assistance of its members, volunteers and supporting organizations, LHC has experienced tremendous momentum over the past decade. On an annual basis, LHC honors its most impressive and engaged up-and-coming health care industry leaders, as well as the organization providing the most support to LHC’s mission to develop talent within Nashville’s premier health care industry cluster.

  This new award program will recognize excellence within the membership and honor LHC supporters for their consistent and valuable contributions. Nominations are submitted by members in the following categories:   

  • Health Care Emerging Leader of the Year – an individual member who demonstrates outstanding leadership, motivation and talent within the industry 
  • Volunteer of the Year – an individual member who has dedicated valuable expertise and time to the organization over the past year
  • Supporting Organization of the Year – an organization within the health care community that is providing notable support to LHC through activities that can include memberships, sponsorships, hosting events, consulting and thought-leadership
