• Executive Briefings

  The Executive Briefing Series offers LHC members insight from C-level industry leaders in small-setting discussions on key health care industry topics.

• Delegations

  The LHC Delegation to Washington, D.C., provides members with first-hand insight on the health policy landscape and offers up-and-coming health care leaders an overview of health care policy through meetings with policymakers, White House officials and thought leaders.

• Fundamentals Series

  The Fundamentals Series introduces participants to a wide range of key health care industry topics that are relevant to up-and-coming industry leaders. Past event topics include:

  • Supreme Court: The High Court on the Affordable Care Act
  • Implementing Health Reform in Tennessee
  • Taking a Company Public

• Industry Tours

  Industry Facility Tours leverage Nashville’s distinct advantage as home to some of the industry’s leading and largest corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution sites and provides on-the-ground views of industry and nonprofit services. Past visits include Dispensary of Hope, Metro General Hospital at Meharry and Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Clinic.

• Mentoring

  The Council Board-to-LHC Board Mentoring Program provides career enhancement and development skills to emerging health care industry leaders through one-on-one executive guidance on topics such as leadership, decision-making and people management. (Participation limited to LHC Board by application.)

• Networking

  LHC offers membership networking events throughout the year, which bring members together in relaxed settings designed to encourage relationship building and camaraderie. The holiday and awards reception in December honors LHC members and organizational contributions from the previous year.
