2010 Economic Impact Study Results (released July 7, 2010)

Nashville has long been recognized, both nationally and internationally, as a health care industry capital and is well known for nurturing innovative health care companies. Conducted by the Council and Business and Economic Research Center at Middle Tennessee State University, the latest health care industry economic impact study is the most comprehensive and up-to-date examination of the Nashville health care industry and its economic impact locally, nationally and globally.

This study uses the most current and comprehensive industry data available and profiled more than 150 Council member companies to fully analyze the far reach of the Nashville health care cluster on business revenue, personal income, employment, office space and other factors.
