Partnerships & Collaborations

The Council works to establish new collaborations and enhance existing partnerships with other organizations that work toward fostering health care entrepreneurship and growing the Nashville health care industry. Among them are:

• Ongoing work with organizations such as the Nashville Capital Network and Nashville Entrepreneur Center, which provide resources for entrepreneurs in Middle Tennessee.
• Continued partnerships with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce on many events and initiatives.
• Sponsoring several partner organizations, including the Vanderbilt Owen Healthcare Business Alliance, Tennessee Technology Development Corporation and Life Science Tennessee.
• Establishing a health and well-being agenda that spurred partnerships among the city, health care companies and community organizations. Initiatives include serving as a member of Nashville's Communities Putting Prevention to Work Leadership Committee; sponsoring the award-winning Children’s Health Crisis documentary series produced by Nashville Public Television; and supporting the missions of Nashville Mayor Karl Dean's Healthy Nashville initiative and the Tennessee Obesity Taskforce.
• Collaborating with Swecare, a Stockholm-based public-private health care partnership, to bring Swedish delegations to Nashville and sponsor a health care conference at the Swedish Embassy in Washington, D.C.
• Founding partner of the Nashville Council of Health Care Attorneys.
