Details:
Due to the ever increasing digitization, integration and sharing of health care information, health care companies are struggling with how to remain in compliance with HITECH, HIPAA, and other legislation when their electronic records are shared with partners. How do these companies ensure that their partners are in compliance? Would an approach similar to PCI standards work for health care?
The summit will bring together experts from health care, auditing, standards, and compliance organizations to discuss these issues and develop a whitepaper containing best practices and recommendations.
